These sinks are constructed for above-counter installation. They have a 1.75-inch drain opening for standard U.S. plumbing connections. Suggested Novatto strainer drains: UPD-ORB (oil rubbed bronze), UPD-BN (brushed nickel), and UPD-CH (chrome). Since each sink varies will send a picture of the one we are sending prior to shipping for approval. For best cleaning results, a soft cloth with mild soap and water or a non-abrasive glass cleaner is recommended.
